« Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer...

« Just as good as last year and we all had a great time and everything on our mission trip to Crow Creek Reservation went well. Hope we can do this again in 2026. Could not think of a better place to stay. »

« This little cabin is as authentic as it gets. As retired teachers, we loved having access to the little schoolhouse next door to the cabin. The history provided was very interesting. Crystal offered to show us other areas of the ranch but we were already on the road. The stars at night were phenomenal. Thank you! »

« Great place! Has everything you need for hunting and fishing! »

« The setting couldn’t have been more beautiful . The cabin was very pet and family friendly ! We would have loved access to a broom and vacuum to dust corners here and there ! We loved our stay ! »

« Overall I liked it. It’s private and has plenty of space to park our pickup and boat. Very close to the boat dock and a nice restaurant.It can get windy there, but pretty normal for that area. I would like to see a little more seating inside such as another chair or couch, and possibly a TV, although we were fine without it. Overall a cool place to stay. »

« This house was very cozy and so much space , where daughter and grandkids had their own privacy downstairs in evening. Absolutely beautiful scenery. And huge yard to run around in! Communication was excellent and very understanding!! Great weekend!! »

« Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site. »
