« Had a wonderful weekend stay at the property. We had 4 adults, 4 kids and a baby comfortably fit in the home. There was a pack-n-play & high chair available to use for the baby that came in handy. Kitchen was fully equipped. WiFi helped with poor cell phone reception in the area. We had a fire in the pit outside for hotdogs and s'more's. The hot tub was not open for the season to use but hoping we can use on our next visit there. The yard goes right up to the dock & lake. Only complaint was that...

« Plenty of space, great neighborhood, awesome host! Only complaint, in the listing photos it shows a swing set or playset which is no longer there, but it did not disrupt our stay or plans, we had a great stay and I look forward to staying here again next year! »

« Inside of the house was very clean and spacious. Kichen was very clean, bedrooms were clean and spacious. Outside of the house were not cleaned but I was satisfied with the house. »

« I spent every summer of my childhood in Oakwood, so I know the cottage well. It used to belong to Rev. Ross Cook. My grandparents were George and Marie Cook (no relation to Rev. Cook) and they built the cottage at 1019 S Lake Dr. They worked at the old hotel every summer for decades. My dad also worked there during his teen years and so did I. I loved the view of the park.
