„Wonderful stay. Clean, bright, comfortable room. Great breakfast.“

„Mold in the bathrooms and bed sheets not clean.“

„Beds were the best! Room was clean and comfortable.“

„Super cool!“

„Really great spot, great use of space. Cozy. A lot little extras made our time even better.“

„Eigentlich gibt es nichts zu meckern. Das Motel ist zwar nicht brandneu und wirkte recht verlassen. Aber das Zimmer war ok, das Personal nett, der Pool geheizt und das "continental breakfast" eben genauso, wie man es kennt.“

„Low water pressure - made showers weak, dishwasher weak - Note in House Rules about the well should be replaced with a new well pump. Water pressure makes master bath deluxe showers disappointing at best.Hot Tub was empty - "Prior guests made a mess - we are not filling until fall" - Perhaps the water issue is the cause? I own a hot tub and manage to keep it clean.Grill was absolutely filthy - I had to clean it before I would consider putting any food on it.Floor was damaged and dangerously ...

„Adorable little cabin! Quiet and peaceful lake, no loud party barges or music blaring...We came for the quilt show in Paducah and we ate at Paducah, Metropolis, and Brookport, all were a quick drive. We would definitely stay again if we come back to the quilt show. “

„The house was very clean and comfortable. Easy in and out to places we wanted to visit. Host was very easy to communicate with and we were even able to extend our stay one extra day without any issues. We would definitely recommend this house. You won't be disappointed.“

„This property is really unique and fun. The indoor space is compact but very cleverly designed and comfortable, and the outdoor space including the deck, fire pit, hot tub and lake shore are all top-notch. We only stayed one night and I wish our trip had allowed us more time to enjoy this spot.“

„Excellent stay in this luxe apartment. Thoughtful details and exemplary attention from the host made this visit relaxing and pampered. When a small issue with the thermostat popped up, the host remedied it before we even had to ask. Top notch attention! Close to everything you could possibly want to do in Metropolis. Quiet and comfortable.“

„The cabin was overrun with mice. Within an hour of being there we saw mice run out of the room and back in. The hot tub was filled right before we arrived so it was 70 degrees. The sauna doesnt operate properly. Then when going to bed we realized the pillows and sheets were covered in mouse feces. We left and drove home at 10 pm first night. VRBO wont refund us so watch out everyone. What a scam. “

„Everything was as described and clean. The well stocked kitchen of all the basics served us well. We enjoyed seeing local wildlife in the back field in the mornings and more lightning bugs than I’ve ever seen each night! “

„First and foremost... The host is absolutely wonderful! Contacted me before we drove down, to make sure we had everything we needed, and made sure if we needed anything she was available. The house was amazing! The layout was humongous kitchen, with a dining room attachment area, 2 huge bedrooms, two full baths and beautiful deck that overlook the lake, and kayaks you can use if you wanted to, in the lake. The area that we were at does not have good cell phone reception, the road we drove in on ...

„The house was nice, clean and spacious. If I had any questions the host responded in a timely manner. It is not too far from Shawnee National Park and trails and Paduka, Ky.“

„Home is great!“

„We were looking for a quiet & private getaway. The decks, fire pit & BBQ grill all were great. The Kayaks added to the enjoyment. We may have been fortunate that there weren’t other travelers early in the week, but we felt it was our perfect get away. The fireplace was the only thing we weren’t able to figure out, but we will hope it works next time for chilly mornings. Thanks Malinda for keeping in touch as we needed. Only problems were no cell phone connection when we arrived & had a ...
