« Being able to explore the whole hotel was THE GREATEST EVER!! Especially for my two 11 year old Granddaughters. They had the best time in the whole world hunting the ghost of this historical treasure. They were sure to use their Ghost Finder app. ALOT! of sightings on all floors and stairwell to 3rd floor. I actually DID NOT believe in the ghost having been here several times over the years....I AM a believer now .lol! »

« I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. The staff is welcoming, breakfast is very nice (waffles!!). I really appreciated the amenities in the room. Restaurants are 5 min walk with some nice possibilities. The only negative point is the noise insulation between rooms, I could hear everything from my neighbors. »

« This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If...
