„I was at a music festival and it was hot. Looked up motel in the area. Everything in town full. 9 miles away I found this little place. Reviews were not great but I was done camping. Arrived to a newly outside painted, signed in, went to the room and it was newly painted, new flooring, new fixtures in bathroom and furniture. Air conditioner new and was great relief. Manager went out of his way to ask if everything was ok every time I returned. Review trolls be damned..get a life. “

„Room was very nice but the shower dripped loudly. We reported it immediately but was not fixed within the 2 days we were there. Second floor rooms are directly above the saloon causing us to endure loud music until nearly 11pm both nights. There was no ice in the large ice container on 2nd floor causing us to go to the bakery downstairs to get some. “

„Zimmer bieten den gewohnten Standard. Möbel einwandfrei, Betten sauber und bequem! Lage zentral an der Hauptstraße. Der Ort bietet wenig bis nix, nur als Übernachtunsstop zu nutzen. Das nächste Restaurant (Italiener), in ca.600 m Fußweg erreichbar (empfehlenswert)!“

„We enjoyed our stay at the Albaugh family guest house. The views were amazing. There is a great view of Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. We enjoyed watching the cows move around in the pasture. A convenient location. We would stay again“

„This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If ...
