« Amazing view, easy to access, no negative notes! »

« This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!! »

« The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip! »

« We had an amazing time at this little house on the lake. It easily held our family of 7, plus our sweet golden retriever. We all had so much fun kayaking around the lakes (pup included), lounging in the yard and relaxing in the house. »

« Red Indulgence did not disappoint!! We loved this accommodation and all of its amenities. It is truly a private escape in a beautiful part of the Huron-Manistee National Forest. We will definitely be back! »

« This little cabin is definitely a "not for everybody" but perfect for us two, 60 plus husband and wife of 43 years! It was one of the most peaceful and quiet get a ways ever. Angie is a great host! »

« When i got to the address it took a while 15 mins to locate the cabin, a local lady helped me find the sun-bleached signs by the entrance, she told me go straight back on the road and there it was. I could tell by looking around it was not clean. I cleaned the outhouse and swept the floor in the cabin. Overall it was quite and comfortable . Needs a table and chairs .Jerry »

« Excellent.One suggestion:We didn't locate any tools for cleaning the gas grill. It was not clean when we arrived, and we struggled to clean it after our use. »

« The house was gorgeous and the host was great! The layout is perfect for a group and the pool and backyard were amazing! Close to beaches and lots to do on property. It’s an amazing place and we had so much fun. »

« Clean comfortable stay! Laid back town that is very walkable. Appreciated the extra touches! (Discount cards, information booklet, water bottles, coffee & creamer, laundry stuff!!) Only down fall was water pressure & it’s not for those limited by stairs. Great Host!! »

« We were looking for a quiet retreat for our family close to our favorite Michigan beach. This fit the bill. The lack of internet was such a nice break. We loved the extensive movie collection. »

« We had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, hang out, and every game imaginable was available. Great back deck and a yard that's great for throwing a ball or a frisbee or anything else. Little beach space perfect for younger children and the kayaking on the lakes is great. Easy to get to and grocery nearby makes cooking for the group easy. Would recommend. »

« The accommodations were wonderful; the beach is literally your backyard. The house is quaint and was perfect for our family of four (and dog). There are a fair amount of stairs down to the beach, but are very well built. Free workout on the way up as well! Very clean beach, the lake is just beautiful. Make sure you go down to watch the sunsets! We only saw a couple of others on the beach so it was truly a pretty private experience. Highly recommended and would definitely book again! »
