« This is the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Beautiful, clean, well-appointed, and historic. Mr. Hawkins has taken this historic slice of old Americana and turned it into the most charming little vacation rental property. « This cottage is very cute and extremely well stocked. we have stayed at a number of homes from this and similar sites - I have never seen many of the things that are stocked here. The town and its residents are all so friendly. we definitely want to come back to Cape Charles and the flip flop/. »

« The property was in an AMAZING location. It was quiet, quaint, and SO close the beach. We walked over to watch the sunset on the beach each night. We realized that alot of the locals did this and it was cool to chat with them during that time. Speaking of locals, everyone was SO friendly (we're not used to that here in Virginia, unfortunately). « We really enjoyed our stay at Bayside, specifically the location. With our young kiddos, it was perfect for us to pop over to the park to play several times a day. The house had all the necessities, even a pack & play and high chair which were unexpected bonuses. We could hear a little noise from our neighbors, but nothing disruptive. It could’ve used a bit more cleaning and a water filtration system, but the house was great for our family to enjoy a sweet vacation together. »

« This cozy cottage will make you feel right at home! Two adults and two kids fit just right in this home. We loved all of the finishing touches that made you feel like you were welcomed over to an old friends house. In addition, the yard with outdoor shower made beach clean up a breeze - in fact we only used the outdoor shower (inside is a bit tight).
