Adventure to me is getting to experience the incredible places that not many get to see and the journey it takes to get there. The things you learn along the way, the people you meet and the feeling of accomplishment when you reach your goal. A brutal climb at elevation, in rugged terrain, hot sun, wind gusts, rain, snow, curious bears, and pushing through the pain are all worth in the end when you see that view. These experiences make you truly grateful for the small things in life we take for granted every day such as a bed, running water, a toilet, and good quality toilet paper. My time spent in the mountains has taught me many things. To get comfortable being uncomfortable, never use bear spray down wind from a bear, be bold start cold (from a friend) and dont eat dehydrated beef stroganoff to name just a few. Each adventure teaches something new. This picture was taken 8:23pm descending from the summit of Granite Peak, the highest peak in Montana. We would have probably never seen this view if we had stuck to the original plan. We ended up hiking over 20 hours straight and encountered a bear in the middle of the night on the route back to camp. Not ideal! However, I learned to stick to the original plan and never underestimate how bad your lungs will burn and how slow you walk when you go from 1100 ft. to over 12,000 ft. in less than 48 hours, but another adventure is in the books. Climbing mountains can be absolutely torture on your mind and body and at the same time can be so rewarding. I find in the end I always want to go back for more. #adventure

« My stay at the Tiny Campground was everything I dreamed it would be. So incredibly comfortable and inviting. A little adventure and a lot of romance. The kitchen was stocked with fresh coffee for brewing every morning and to enjoy it while taking in the mountain views, well it doesn't get better than that. Communication, cleanliness and comfort all get 5 stars from this Jersey girl. I would stay again in a heartbeat!! »

"Séjour de 2 nuits au nord de Yellowstone. Accueil très sympathique. Café, etc.... disponibles à l'accueil. Frigo et MO dans la chambre, cafetière. Literie agréable. Commerces, restaurants accessibles à pied. Jardin derrière qui surplombe la rivière avec tables et chaises, très chouette. Je retournerai à Yellowstone et séjournerai à nouveau dans ce Motel. . "

"Hôtel vraiment bien. Personnel au petit soin. Bouteilles d’eau « Yellowstone » en aluminium offerte à l’arrivée. Jumelles et bâton de marche à disposition dans la chambre, qui est très bien équipée. Très proche de l’entrée nord du parc. Seuls points noirs : le wifi fonctionnait mal et même pas du tout le dernier soir, ce qui nous a vraiment posé problème. Pas de petit déjeuner proposé, mais café à disposition dans la chambre et à la réception."
