« Our entire experience was wonderful! »

« While it doesn't offer amenities, other than cable tv, WIFI, picnic tables, and grills, this little gem of a motel is very convenient for us while visiting our family in this tiny town. We are so glad the property was purchased and remodeled after years of being derelict. »

« This is a cool old southern house. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were visiting a relative that lives in town and this was close by and just as affordable as the motels in town. We had the bridal suite, which was spacious. There were 2 things that could be improved upon, but are minor issues. 1: Shower water pressure was low 2: The door to the room stuck very hard and you made a bunch of noise trying to open or close it, Luckily there were no other guests in the house...

« The Villa was very nice! The hosts were easy to contact and very hospitable! »

« Very clean and beautiful property. Jack was amazing through the whole process. He was there anytime you needed him. This place is an amazing treasure tucked away in the heartland of Alabama. Would recommend this place to anyone!!! »

« This property was perfect for our leadership retreat for a group of teenagers and then for our adult staff for the rest of the week. The location is awesome. No dirt roads, easy access to the main channel of the lake, and easy access to town and restaurants. The host was very responsive. We would rent again. »

« Great getaway. Really relaxing. »

« This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The property is filthy and dilapidated. The sink water smells like a swamp and we couldn't use it to cook or wash, there were bugs everywhere, including the cabinets, there was rodent poop with the pans, the wifi didn't work, the owners didn't respond at all to my multiple texts. We had to leave early and get a hotel. Stay away from this place. »

« Paige was a fantastic host. The property was clean, well stocked with necessities, and exactly as described. The train does run at night, but it is tolerable and infrequent. We will definitely be back! »

« Excellent property for family getaway. On the lake, yet private. House generously stocked with everything you might need (within reason). Enough room for everyone to spread out, or gather. Owner responded within the hour after inquiries. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this property. »

« The Denson’s ;) We had a Great time!!!! Everything was just like in the photos. House was clean, comfortable, host responded right away. It’s Right on the water, has two paddle boats that the kids loved and my son caught a Huge Bass while fishing. I Definitely recommend staying. »

« This was our 2nd visit. Jerry welcomed us with a local treat and fresh cut flowers. We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed the care and thought put into the space. Can’t wait to come back again. »

« We had a wonderful time at this property..its not on the lake which I thought it was at first..but its so close to the lake the it was actually perfect. It is extremely private. The host was absolutely the sweetest person ever. We was able to shoot off fireworks. It was the perfect private rental. Family friendly..a large porch to sit on. »

« The property was very spacious. It was remote and hidden away which is exactly what we were going for. The short drive to the nearby town and grocery store provided everything we needed for our stay. There were so many activities to do around the house for the kids and adults alike. The pool table held everyone's attention. And, with the rental of the pontoon boat for the week, we scratched that itch for fishing too. Coming from a state lacking in hillsides, we did find there is some exercise...

« The home was gorgeous, the views were gorgeous, went into town and shopped and went to the winery! Went canoeing and hiking! It was a perfect get away! »
