„Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.“

„My husband, our fur baby and I enjoyed our stay. This location and house fulfilled every expectation we were hoping for when staying in Virginia (1st time to this state). Absolutely stunning view of the sunset. Quiet and secluded. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Directions and communication from the host was excellent! „The perfect mountain home for a relaxing getaway! The proximity to the Front Royal Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park and the town was a plus! „The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning ...

„This place never disappoints! It’s always clean and ready when we arrive. It has land for us and the dogs to roam, yet minutes from grocery stores and quaint downtown shops/dining. We love the hot tub and fire pit. This was probably the 4th time we’ve stayed here; never had a complaint!“
