« My mom and I stayed here 05/29-06/01/2025. The dock and back deck were perfect for watching eagles, loons, mallards and their ducklings. It was clean, temperature control was a breeze and there was lots of room with two people. The property was convenient for travel to restaurants and shopping. It was a great starting point for a hike with the dog. Marisa was very helpful and easy to contact. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a ride pace outside of St. Germain! »

« My fiance and I have been making visits to White Sand Lake for several years and this has to be the best property we have found yet. The hosts were very commutative and easy to reach, and were very accommodating. We had a lovely stay and will definitely try booking this property again! »

« We came up for the Fall Color Run. The location was great! The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake. We seen a lot of eagles and listened to the loons. I would definitely recommend this place. »

« Great overall. Cabin was clean and cozy but a little heavy with furniture to navigate around. No toliet so thank gooodness I packed some and left a couple rola for the next guests. I’m convinced the giant tadpoles ate all the fish…not even a nibble. The hill going up to the cabin can be tough for someone with health issues. « Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies. »

The cabin provided us a perfect location where we had lots of privacy and a beautiful setting to hang out and enjoy being a family. « This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing. Fabulous quilt store nearby. »
