« We have family in the Tylertown area and usually stay at their place when we come for a visit. This time we decided to rent a place for the two nights and found Colbys River Retreat. Jolla was an awesome host. Greeted us to show us the functuins in the rv and gave us a bag of fresh picked blueberries. She was incredibly nice the rv was clean and had eerything you woukd need. Price was great. There arent any hotels in Tylertiwn area. The river with its great sand bars and tubing is awesome. If...

« House was comfortable, clean and convenient for what we needed. Check-in was a little difficult since arrived when was dark and had to locate an extra key in the back since a door lock that was to be left unlocked wasn't. Also A/C was completely off when arrived on what had been a very hot day so took some time to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Would stay there again though. »

« I did not expect to find such a gem of a place to stay in rural Mississippi. The setting was on an acreage with horses grazing and beautiful sunsets. I was most surprised by the inside of the barn loft quarters. It was so tastefully decorated with beautiful antiques and updated kitchen and bath and flooring. There was an Italian stove and well furnished kitchen. Whoever decorated had exquisite taste. I even found a welcome sign with my name on it and a well selected gift basket. I cannot...

« The hotel is in the good area which is closer to restaurants my only problem during my stay here when I booked its say two queen bed but when we got there seem like we had full size bed. I am not sure if the staff just giving us the wrong room or that just the size of the bed but wondering why its says queen size bed »

« The property could be awesome! There were a few hitches due to some recents flooding but didn’t really affect our stay. The ceiling fans definitely need some work, too noisy to run especially in the master bedroom. »
