« Le "grand" Matej a perdu de sa grandeur. Malgré un bon emplacement et un accueil agréable, un sérieux rafraîchissement de l ensemble serait bienvenu. Quant à la chambre, de très grande taille, elle laisse a désirer : miroir salle de bains fêlé, support douche cassé (impossible donc de prendre une douche digne de ce nom), barre et rideau de douche modèle suédois basique dont on se demande comment elle tient. Bref un peu déçu même si rand lit avec literie de qualité et baignoire géante. »

« By the looks of the hotel online it’s very elegant. But it’s much dirtier, smells like cigarettes, and room is tiny. A lot of noise outside due to poor insulation. The restaurant was good though with good prices. I guess you get what you pay for. It worked ok for me but I wouldn’t stay here again. »

« THE WORST PLACE EVER IN MY LIFE! In the morning I noticed that I got bitten by a bug. But I never knew what it was. I went back to my home and for few weeks I found my skin is so itchy, and I found the bed bugs. This ruined my weeks and it cost a lot to call the expert to disinfect everything at my house. I am 100 percent sure that it came from here because I have never exprienced this before. JUST DONT GO THERE. »

« On first view, Hotel Bristol is a beautiful hotel, well located, clean with good rooms. But...there was no wifi in my room ! Yes, in 2017, there was no wifi in my hotel room ! The location isn't ideal, as it's below the highway, not very charming as the old town of Banska Bystrica, but the double window isolate the noisy very well, we could sleep in perfect silence and the free parking was very handy. Waarschijnlijk omdat er nauwelijks gasten waren was de service bizar slecht, het zal hopelijk beter zijn op drukke dagen.
