« Check-in was fast and the staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. However, the tempurature in the room was too warm and I wasn't able to get the AC working so I had to leave a window slightly open to cool down. This might be because the hotel is in the mountains, so there was a big difference in outdoor and indoor tempurature that I didn't adjust to. « Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and even helped drive us to the train station and stopped at the beautiful snowy sights around Biei along the way. This is a beautiful location, close to AKJ airport (by car, or by bus with a bit of walking). We decided to stay here because we wanted an easy location to stay the night after arriving in Hokkaido, before heading to the mountains. It was cozy, quiet, and clean, and we would stay here again happily. »

« Ce petit hôtel est un peu désuet comme on les faisait dans les années 80 mais c’est aussi ce qui fait son charme. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien achalandées et donnent sur la montagne, mais il est dommage qu’un parking ait été construit juste à cet endroit. Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais beaucoup trop matinal et à 8 h la salle à manger doit être vidée et on met le client près qu’à la porte ce qui est dommage. Le dîner semble correct mais un peu cher »

« The unit is spacious and very clean, and worth the extra drive if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. Note, though, that although the loft can sleep several people, the ceiling is only about four feet high and hitting your head can be a problem! Also, there is no coffee, tea or and condiments provided so be sure to bring your own. The check in was a problem for us, ensure you can make a Japan phone call if needed which we did. »
