« Great stay at the Hotel Sandakan. Room was great for our family of four. Great view out to the Sandakan harbour. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant (we also had lunch there twice as part of a tour we were on, and can confirm that was very yummy too). »

« For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get...
