« I loved my stay at Lake Safari Lodge. The rooms were very comfortable with a nice seating area outside with great views of the lake. The grounds are beautiful- full of flowers and trees and with lots of seating from where you can admire different views of the lake. The view from the infinity pool is stunning. Lovely buffet breakfast with a great selection - the fruit platter is a work of art ! But most of all it was the friendliness of the staff which made my stay. From the owner to the waiting...

« We stayed here as a recovery from a road trip around Zambia and it was perfect. They are very customer service oriented. The large open space was perfect for relaxing on the couch with a view of the lake, a snack or sip in the pool. There was always someone around to get you anything you wanted. I’d stay here again. »

« D’architecture exotique, très bel hôtel en bordure de lac, cadre magnifique : c’est superbe. Le personnel est très aimable, disponible et de service. Le petit déjeuner est moyen et les repas à la carte sont correctes pour 40 USD. Dans l’hôtel, une agence tour operator très bien avec 2 heures dans le bush pour voir les gros animaux d’Afrique de près pour 45 USD par personne : à faire absolument et cette agence propose aussi un transport par taxi à 250 USD entre Kariba et Harare. « What a place. In the middle of an unofficial game park with literally elephants, zebras and baboons seen regularly around the compound. Staff excellent and food passable but not great. »

« September 2024. What a wonderful gem of a place! I was impressed with the beautiful rooms, and the incredible self-catering utilities available to us. The host who greeted me on my arrival was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. The property is very safe and secure with locked gate, and undercover parking, so my vehicle was out of the hot sun!
