« Renter beware. This is a transformed shed. The loft with a mattress is a box storage area. Not for people of size or age. The second bed is a small futon. River is not accessible because of erosion and broken glass. The river at this spot is not a place to swim because of debris building materials and car parts . The river view is spectacular and bird watching was good. A few other things but the owner said he would address those issues. Then weather was great! »

« Henry is very thoughtful and highly invested in us having a good experience. He kindly provided us a plethora of varied hiking trail and restaurant recommendations. Which were fantastic and we otherwise would not have found on our own. The location to outdoor activities was great. We look forward to staying again. »

« A relaxing getaway! Great home, well kept. Had everything we needed and more. Spent hours watching river and hummingbirds on the front porch! Beautiful, and fun for all, swimming hole at end of road. Would most definitely book again. »

« We stayed a couple of days with a few friends to climb Mount Washington. Everything was as expected. We loved the town and the proximity to the mountains. The host was was very responsive and very nice. Everything required was on site. We loved the bear theme and the classic radio in the living room! Strongly recommend! »

« We spent 3 days at the cabin with my husband and our 3 children aged 3, 7 and 9. The stay was very pleasant. The place is cozy, small but very well organized. We were able to enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains and took advantage of the covered space for the fires (very practical in case of rain!) Thanks Ben! :) »

« We were three couples and three grandchildren (ages 5, 1, and 1). Our stay at Alex’s house on the lake was absolutely wonderful! The house was as described, so there were no surprises. The kitchen had everything we needed in cooking utensils, pans, dishes, etc. There were ample bath towels and bedding as well.We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the open space (though it was necessary to keep a sharp eye on the toddlers near the stairs). « This cabin is a wonderful experience that any couple should enjoy at least once. The calm serenity and private ambience led to the relaxation that myself and my wife desperately needed. Everything was beautifully put together and we found ourselves having almost everything we needed to have a great trip without packing too much from home. What a wonderful adventure. We will be back!! »
