„Property was close to everything and the owner was quick to remedy any issues that came up.“

„Room is clean restroom is clean. Walkable to Fred Mayer and taco bell. Owners are friendly. Would have been even better if there is a small water bottle or provision to fill water but this is just a suggestion. If you have a choice to choose between a hostel and this room with few dollars price difference I would strongly suggest to go for this room for all the advantages it offers. I was in similar boat hence suggesting :) “

„We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history ...

„The location has close neighbors above and to the sides. Occasionally loud, but very nice people who respect any request to quiet down. Convenient location to anything in Fairbanks. Parking was tight for our big vehicle, but a standard SUV or smaller would have no issues.“

„This property is very clean, secluded for privacy, and has a homey, comfortable feel about it. The output was well stocked with essentials and has lighting. Has easy access to shopping and the airport. Looking for a nice getaway? This is your place!!“

„Laura and Martin have a wonderful get-away. Breakfast, coffee, water and snacks await you upon arrival. The house is clean and the decor provides real Alaskan vibe. I stayed mid-July and the deck and flowers were peaceful and inviting. As hosts,, they are friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone to their lovely Gilmore house. “

„This treehouse was a wonderful stay. The check-in was easy, just a code for the door. Made it very easy when my plane landed at 0200 and an exhausted traveler just wanted to sleep. The house was warm and welcoming. Spacious enough for me. The bed was so comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked. The host was very responsive to my questions. I would definitely stay here again. “

„Super freundlicher Empfang vom Eigentümer. Gab uns prima Tipps zur Stadt und für Aktivitäten. Frisches Obst und Snacks, beste technische Ausstattung (Waschmaschine, Trockner, Herd, großer Kühlschrank, große Fernseher in jedem Zimmer ). Wir fühlten uns sofort ausgesprochen wohl. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Alles sehr zu empfehlen! Danke, David für die Gastfreundschaft!“

„This was in the top 3 VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed. I really felt at home when I walked in. There was such attention to details. Comfy and cozy. Bed was very comfortable and shower was hot and good water pressure! Close enough to walk into town and see the sights. Ben was very personal and accommodating and quick to respond. Will absolutely stay again on my next trip to Fairbanks!“

Nancy was informative and friendly, and has a lot of great tips on things to do in the area. House was very clean, everything provided, and check in and out was so easy. Would stay again. PS loved the ducks in the stream out back.“

"Die „Herbergsmutter“ war sehr nett, man konnte von 05:00 bis 23:00 Uhr frischen Kaffee bekommen! Bis 22:30 Uhr konnte konnte man jedes Gespräch aus der Küche und dem Flur hören! Das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarrt! Das Frühstück konnte man sich selbst machen, mit den Lebensmittel aus dem Gästekühlschrank! Aus hygienischen Gründen haben wir verzichtet!"
