« A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall. »

« Sri Lankan Villa was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest. Everything in the villa had been thought through, and our stay was so comfortable and easy. Lovely balcony too for relaxing. The location was perfect - close to Koggala lake, the beach, our favourite little Café Wave (try the hot lava cake), the railway line, and even the little road the villa was on was quiet and good for an evening wander. Highly recommended. »

« The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day. »

« Been wonderful to stay there, little noisy from the road outside and the train passing. Caring and loving people cooking and making sura all is good. 5 stars to them 😊🌞 »

« Petit hotel au calme et à proximité du centre historique. Chambre bien équipée malgré une télévision obsolète »

The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. WiFi and air conditioning are excellent. The team that work at the villa are exceptional. Kind, genuine and welcoming, they make Taru Villa 906 what it is. « Excellently appointed room and ensuite bathroom for the price. The location is quiet and only about 10 minutes walk from the train/bus stations and cricket ground. The staff are friendly. I can highly commend Coco House. »

« Sauberste Unterkunft des ganzen Urlaubs. Preis / leistungstechnisch eigentlich viel zu günstig. Selten so familienfreundliche & herzliche Gastgeber gehabt und wir sind bereits viel gereist. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. »

« The location was amazing! But that is about it. The sheets had stains on them, so did the towels, the fridge was moldy and warm, it said breakfast was included which we never got. Happy we only spent a night here, would not have spent more »
