« Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard. Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable. »

« The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. There is no property parking but street parking was easy to find. Local establishments (restaurants, bars, etc.) are only a few blocks away. We walked to several very easily. The host was friendly, quick to respond and very accommodating. « What I didn’t like: - This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. For example, the front desk is only open M-F from 8a-6p so if you need help outside of those hours, you’re SOL. - Cleaning service is only done on a bi-weekly so when we stayed here for 5 days, the room got pretty dirty and we had trash and dirty towels piling up. - The portable AC included in the room...

« Don (the host) was accommodating, friendly, and ready for a good chat. He even got out the kayaks for use on the private lake. The unit was clean and well stocked. The property is beautiful and perfectly located to explore the Olympic Peninsula. I saw deer, elk, and lots of other wildlife. Be advised, there is no food delivery and the nearest restaurants are a bit of a drive, so plan accordingly. »
