« The cabin was in a nice location. The driveway needs a little maintenence. It was rough driving in and out. The cabin over all reminded me of our hunting shack, but with an upgrade. It was nice for us because we didnt need anything fancy. The cabin was private, relaxing, close to our favorite beach and we had everything we needed to enjoy our get away. We all slept very well and enjoyed the no use of electric devices for a few days. »

« Perfect location, close to public beach. Spent 4th july week, alot of fun activities for families. Narrow parking. Left our vehicle at our friends cottage and drove sxs back and forth. Will be back »

« The started off a little rocky, but our host was most helpful. We enjoyed wonderful weather (even thunderstorms in the UP are amazing), saw unmatched natural beauty, and managed to find a few special rocks. We definitely will come back. »

« We had an excellent experience from the time we arrived through the entire extended weekend. Our host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and all was as expected with the property. We would stay here again! »

« This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation. »

« What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer! »

« This is literally a gemstone! Family of 4 two teenagers and a dog. It was an amazing location. Completely recommended if you're looking to decompress from busy life. »

« We enjoyed a spectacular week at the lake. The property is better than the pictures and very private. The cabin itself is gorgeous and well-equipped/comfortable. Would love to come back again. »

The house actually had more supplies than we expected, including some things that came in handy atving around the mountain like the walky talkies.The bed we slept in was very comfortable and cozy. Although there is no ac, it was not needed as the ceiling fans, and the area temps made for a nice cool sleep.The area feels both secluded and accessible. « For our two large families, this is the best place to stay. We’ve rented this property 7 or 8 years in a row, in the summer, for about a week at a time. Staci and Dieter are great hosts and we hope we can keep our summer streak alive! »

« The cottage was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to see lakers/ships pass in front of the cabin when the weather was clear as well as see stars from inside the cabin with the large picture windows. There is one bedroom with a double and twin bed and there was a king bed in the master bedroom which was very comfortable. I do not normally sleep well when out of town because the beds aren't comfortable but the mattress was very comfortable and I slept great. We were also...
