« First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff.
All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not.
We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. Getting between the rooms you have to be very...

« We have stayed at the Petwood Hotel before, in order to join a friends party.
We loved it so much that I treated us to a room overlooking the garden. It was well worth the extra money, as there was a raised area with a lovely table overlooking the gardens as well as the huge size of the room itself.
The history and atmospheric quality of the hotel is superb and the local area is fabulous, especially for walks or cycling.
Treat yourself to Sunday lunch if you can as a fabulous pianist called...

« Hotel room was nice and clean, spacious enough for the 2 of us, everything was in working order and tea/coffee stocked up. Only down size was the bed, it was nice and big however, made a noise every time you moved and was quite soft compared to what I’m used to but I guess that’s down to preference. »

Ironic you send this questionnaire after your reservations person (based, unhelpful,y, in Arizona) spent over an hour and a half on the day getting us alternative accommodation. »
