« Charming house in great neighborhood in walking distance to town, shops & food. Host Lori (& hubby) have done a great job creating a cozy, comfortable home for guests. The way they documented the history & transformation of the Church House was really remarkable. We loved the history of the area! And all of the neighbors/business owners/workers were so friendly & helpful. We will be back as we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do. »

« 6 of us Stayed on this great lake house. We were in the area putting up deer stands and feeders. Was great to come back after a hard days work to the A Frame! The place had great beds, and everything was well outfitted. »

« Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. »

« Absolutely wonderful location close to the lake a charming little “cabin“ very quiet an excellent place to relax we really enjoyed our 10th anniversary fishing, sleeping and eating in this quiet little place. « The property has been well planned by using a mfd home and adding floorspace to it. Amenities include a deck w hottub, a game room, a porch w outdoor tv, and the balcony overlooking the river. Great place to host friends and family! »

« What an amazing gem of a cabin.. fabulous views, wonderfully clean, well stocked kitchen with lovely pots, pans and utensils.Hosts were super responsive..Ive stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was definitely in my top 3 »

« Beautiful home with so many wonderful antiques and charming appointments. Spacious rooms. Large dining table with many chairs. So many places to gather. A delightful breezeway with ceiling fans and comfortable wicker chairs and loveseats. Many outdoor seating spots and a lovely front porch to gather. We loved the golf cart supplied to go out each night to dinner. Also, the wonderfully landscaped homes in the area were so much fun to drive by. »

« Booked this cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and surroundings very peaceful. Just wish I was brave enough to get in the water! Enjoyed our time in downtown Jefferson too. Want to come back with fishing poles as our son would love it. Thank you for the opportunity to appreciate nature with modern amenities! »

You can fish off the back deck or watch the birds and enjoy the outdoors in comfort. You can also dock your boat at the private dock. You have all the comfort of home here right on the water. « Wonderful, Clean, Very Comfortable »

« The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. »

« Had a lovely time at Sanders Lodge. Plenty of space inside and out to spread out, the lake is much more beautiful in person than the pictures give it credit. I wish that we could’ve stayed longer. »
