« Check in & out was very simple. Inside of cabin very clean & kept nice. Outside could have been better kept, including the yard and lake access/beach area. The lake was disappointing; only offers bullheads, turtles, frogs, & leeches. It was very peaceful with beautiful weather. »

« This was awesome. Good price for a great cabin. Very clean. Comfortable mattresses. Really nice lay out. Big enough. The weather cooperated on our short stay, so we didn’t have to be inside too much. However, if we did, it seems like the cabin would have still allowed us room to have some family fun. I did not expect this nice of a cabin. The resort itself was not busy, and really quiet. It seems that even if it was busy, the vibe was it would have been quiet at night, which is important to us....

« Enjoyed our end of August stay in this well kept, spacious property. Appreciated the flexibility to bring our Labrador along. We hiked on a number of the nearby developed trails, and enjoyed dinners at several restaurants with 30 minutes or so. (caution - note that numerous restaurants are closed Mondays and/or Tuesdays, and reservations are important) »

« We very much enjoyed our stay at The King's Cottage! Everything was very clean and organized, just as described. The kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Bathroom was a bit tight but nothing we couldn't handle. The books on the shelves were fun to look through! We liked the seclusion of the cabin while we could still be close by neighboring towns if we wanted to venture out to explore or to pick things up if we needed. « This was our 3rd time staying in the awesome house with our family. The house fit us perfectly! We all had our space/room and we just love it! The bedrooms aren’t particularly big but that didn’t matter because we were only in them to sleep. The beds are super comphy too! The fishing on Mercer Lake was fantastic.
