The Branchville Railroad Depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The front of the structure now houses a museum/shrine of railroad memorabilia, including a caboose. It is open by appointment and children are welcome. Informal tours are led by John Norris, a retired railroad company executive. Admission is free but donations toward the upkeep of the museum are appreciated. Call (803) 707-1788 for information.

« Property was beautiful, lovely, clean and peaceful. Casi and Bob were wonderful hosts. It was nice being welcome with a big iced pitcher of fresh lemonade. « Very nice home! Pictures are as advertised and the home was very clean. The area surrounding the home is dilapidated, however, the home is very nice. The only two issues with the house are 1) the walls are very thin and you can hear the road noise and every step the people above take very clearly. 2) there is an issue with the municipal pipes of the town and my last night of the stay the water in the shower and bathroom sink was coming out yellow. Overall a very nice option in this small town. »

« This pains me to write because this could’ve been a great little stopping point, however the bathtub was actually filthy. It smelled like urine and there is a dark grey film that needs to be scrubbed off. I get that old tubs can have stains but these are not stains and could’ve been removed with cleaner and elbow grease. « This rental was super cute! We rented the cabin while attending a sports game at Williams Brice and it's a perfect distance from the stadium. It is a calm area, I don't think there were other cabin renters while we were there and if there were we never felt disrupted or crowded, we were able to have a calm weekend. AC worked great, Tv works, so does the mini fridge. I would be sure to bring your own bed linens as the description says. My husband slept in one of the beds and myself on the couch...
