„We were totally blown away by Lion Downe Cottage! The space was immaculate, the views were outstanding, it had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the great hot tub, grill, fire pit, and screened-in porch. Rob’s communication was helpful and prompt and we received some great tips for local swimming spots to enjoy the warm weather and explore this beautiful part of Wisconsin.Honestly this was one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever been in, and we absolutely want to be back!“

„Beautiful walkout basement setup with gorgeous views in a nice area. Quality through out, this wasn't setup like it was a rental, but like their own home. We enjoyed having our dog there, but felt bad we had to check in with the owner to be sure their dog wasn't out at the same time. I have a nice dog, but she's old and not interested in other dogs anymore. Just a heads up, since I don't remember reading that in the description. The owner was very accommodating, so no complaints there. “

„Was a very quiet and relaxing spot, weather wasnt great so we spent time inside watching sum movies and shows. Cabbin had everything we needed and loved the little care basket. “

„Alles in Allem ist das Hotel ok. Die Zimmerausstattung ist in Ordnung. Allerdings hat das Hotel keinen Fahrstuhl, sodass man die Koffer die Treppe nach oben schleppen muss. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Andere Dinge, wie den Pool, den man beim Frühstücken im Blick hat, haben wir nicht genutzt. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich.“

It was a short walk to the marina for a sail on beautiful lake Pepin and watch the sun go down.“

„Great house for a large group! 19 guests never felt crowded. Plenty of towels and dishes. House is older (built in 1888, I believe) so expect smaller bathrooms, low ceilings on third floor. Not terribly handicap friendly either. No central AC, but window units kept house plenty cool. Pinball and video game machines were added bonus.“
