« We had a lovely week-long stay! House was clean and comfortable, with many thoughtful little amenities and details. Neighborhood is quiet and feels safe, centrally located (5-10 min away from anywhere you’d want to go in Point; 15 min from Plover). Would absolutely stay here again! »

« The Depot is an amazing quaint and charming gem in the heart of Amherst. The property is newly renovated and very clean and peaceful. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent. Would highly recommend! »

« This was a really fun, historic location. Communication with the host was excellent. I accidentally locked myself out of the house and they came to our rescue immediately. I also need to mention the number of towels! Haha We have traveled extensively and have never had so many towels avaliable. Sounds like a small thing, but it was really nice to have so many. The nearby water was beautiful and the neighborhood is very friendly. »

« Beautiful location! Super friendly and helpful hosts. Very responsive even came out to fix the hot tub for us! Loved the house and all the games and activities. Really loved the sitting area out by the fire. Only tiny negative is the basement floor must not be level (just how old houses are) cause rhe pool table isn't level. A tiny thing when you have all the other pluses!!! Would definitely stay here again! We loved that they had an old school Nintendo game for us to play!!! So much...

« I have rented on this lake the last 4 years. This place is a better fit for my family. It's safer. More railings, steps to pier and into lake are not so steep and have railings. Maybe a face washcloth in each bathroom would be nice. Also extra toilet paper in each bath would be nice. The holder in the master bath is coming koose from the wall. I honestly didn't do it. I noticed when I was changing the roll. Hope to rent for many years to come.downstairs »

« The amenities and decor are a bit dated BUT very clean & quaint. Felt like we were staying at grandma's house. The pics of the lake DO NOT do it justice! The lake is literally right out the door. If you want to relax and enjoy the magnificent sunrises over the lake and stars & moon at night, this is your place. Very responsive owners. Hot water, house heats up quickly and comfy beds. No noise from Hwy 21 when inside. Can certainly here and see cars on Hwy 21 when on deck but it does not matter....
