« While the location is perfect the lodge itself needs work. It needs updating and a refreshed clean look. The lounge chairs in the lobby are extremely worn and the warm inviting picture on line is no match to the dingy look. The room felt dark and the bed mattress saggy. Cleaning fine.No hot shower due to multiple fuses blowing. Drippy faucet. Night 2 a breaker went. « Cabin was immaculate, instructions were clear, host was communicative, easy to reach and friendly. We were driving across the country and was a very much needed peaceful stay. Lovely place to stay. »

« Excellent property! The decor had us smiling the second we walked in. It was very clean, spacious and we felt at home. Added bonus was being greeted by the neighborhood dogs and being able to visit with JJ. We hope to plan another long weekend in the area so we can spend time on the back patio and enjoy a fire. « We loved our stay. If you want a quiet out of the way get-a-way, this it it! The cabin was very clean and had what we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting the host in person when he brought us fire wood and he was very nice. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and meeting the neighboring dogs who were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again. »
