« Troutbeck did not disappoint. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. It was cold in the evenings and mornings but the rooms had electric heating pads to make the beds warm and comfy. The big hearth fires were a nice place relax. Good menu selections and breakfast buffet. »

« The location and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. If you are looking for time out, this is the place to stay, amazing. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. Menu options were good and prices not bad. Will definitely stay here again and bring family and friends. Recommend the hotel updates its website pictures, there is so much more to show. Please improve the instructions hiking and mountain climbing. »

« Very unique decor and friendly staff. Came in early evening and left early morning without taking breakfast. Well recommended if you can manage to sleep with highway next to you. We liked the views especially sunrise! »

« The property is beautifully situated with a lovely view and is potentially very tranquil and peaceful. Unfortunately guests from the neighbouring room disturbed us by appearing frequently on our balcony right outside of our windows. Perhaps it would be prudent to request visitors not to disturb other guests but to stay within the areas which they have paid for and/or public areas on the property. Apart from this issue we had a very pleasant stay and would visit again. »

« - exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - food was really tasty and was prepared at our own wish -> Praise to the chef!!! - very quiet and beautiful surroundings - Cozy fire place in the living room Due to the lack of reviews, we initially had reservations, but we didn't regret it at all, as it turned out to be one of the most comfortable accommodations we had in Zimbabwe. »

« This property offers a 2-bedroom en-suite bath with kitchen and deck with stellar views of the Vumba mountains and Mozambique, but we didn’t get to stay due to a mixup with our reservation: the property didn’t have it owing to illness of the proprietor. Full board is available provided it is arranged in advance, but we couldn’t get replies to our messages, emails and phone calls owing to the proprietor’s illness.
