« This stay was perfection. The photos are exactly what you get on arrival. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the instructions were clear, check-out expectations were fair and basic, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We used the hot tub, grill and fire pit - and all were great. We stayed for three nights and could have easily - and happily - stayed for many more. »

« Had a wonderful stay at the Walden. Found the cabin to be neat and clean. Check in process was simple with lock box and code provided just prior to arrival. The location feels secluded although there are neighbors you can’t see them and rarely hear them. The private spot on the river is perfect for fishing, floating and wading. Can’t wait to go back. »

« We had a great stay! The place was very clean, the back deck was such a great added bonus.. had a good selection of movies and games. 4 wheel drive is advisable. Very comfy!! »

« We had an incredible time!The cabin was amazing! It was honestly better than what the pictures even showed! And communication with the owners was great! My husband and I plan on going back very soon! To be honest, my husband and I could just live there!It was super quiet! The cabin is well taken care of and was super clean! You could tell the owners value their cabin and made everything super easy for us! Beautiful place! We would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway!!! »

« Honestly, I was most pumped about having a pool and a hot tub for our little getaway, but once we arrived I couldn't believe the cabin size, cleanliness, vibe, views, decor - it was just perfect. There were only two of us and our two doggos, so we didn't *need* that much space, but it was just beautiful and serene, equipped with anything you need, and felt on top of the world so to speak/literally lol. « Cute place. It would be wonderful to go back with the family and our dog. The whole house was cute, and relaxing. It was far enough away that you couldn't hear the town, but close enough to enjoy everything Luray had to offer. I would recommend this place for couples needing to get away or families that want to enjoy some peace after a long day of exploring. »

« Lovely large cabin in the woods. Good view of the mountain across the way. The stars are very bright and beautiful at night. The cabin itself was well furnished for our large group. We especially appreciated the pool table and the numerous balconies. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils. Not far from Luray if you need supplies. »

« This is an amazing spot on the Shenandoah River! We caught so many fish. We even had a fish fry one evening because a couple of the bass we caught were more than 15 in.!The property and house were spacious and clean and well cared for. »

Very quiet and tucked into a forested ridge with a nice small campfire spot. Everything was as listed and there was a detailed booklet telling everything about the cabin and local area. »
