« We stayed here recently due to my daughter playing at the QISSN carnival. It was only a short drive into Bundaberg. The accommodation itself was modern, clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the front porch looking down to the water was perfect and it was a quick walk to the cafe and swimming beach. Would definitely stay again. Thank you »

« The reception staff told us they would leave our keys on the door lock for our late check-in. They weren’t there (thankfully, our door was unlocked). The room smelled like old perfume as if they were trying to conceal some bad smells… There was no AC, so it was quite hot at night… The kitchen had a pizza oven, a BBQ, but somehow, no cutlery/plates/etc??? When we wanted to do our checkout, there was no one at the reception even though it was supposed to be open… The only positive things are that...

« Nice holiday apartment. Spacious and clean. Two storey block and they've had some significant flooding recently so all the ground floor apartments were being refitted while we were there. But our upstairs apartment was fine and exactly what we wanted. »

« Chambre (appartement même) grande et confortable. Tout équipé avec lave linge et sèche linge. Pas très moderne mais ce n’est pas grave. Le parking en sous sol fermé est un avantage. Le personnel est là pour vous conseiller. Pas de petit déjeuner mais il y a des cafés juste à côté qui sont très bien. »

« Spent a week with Family at Toogoom retreat. Plenty of space for all of us to spend time together or have some chill out time. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the house which was fantastic. They even catered for the little ones (high chair, portacot, cutlery etc). The mosquitoes and sand flies are relentless during early morning and late afternoon (not just by the water but around the outside of the house as well) so make sure you take plenty of Bushman’s and mosquito coils. »
