« Jim and Cheryl were fantastic hosts and the communication was great! The cabin was beautiful, complete with all the amenities. There was plenty of brochures with things to do and places to see. The property and views were wonderful. We had a relaxing & enjoyable visit. We brought our two dogs; they loved it! We look forward to coming back! Thank you for such a great experience. « Extremely quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by farmland and close to Seneca lake. One of the beds is a foam mattress to put on the floor. You’ll have to cover the motion detector light if you want to sleep. »

« Our stay was lovely. The space had everything we needed, with clear instructions and a beautiful view of the water. Peaceful, private, and so relaxing on the dock. The host was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! »

« We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. »

« Amazing stay! Each room was clean, well equipped with everything we needed, from the 2 kitchens, the ease of checkin, responsive hosts, and the house was gorgeous! With a large dock, kayaks, a boat lift for overnight storage. Plenty of parking! Clean and super nice. It was perfect for our family reunion! »

« Cool, quirky, large clean house, in a great location. Bring water shoes if you want to go in the lake. House needs a little TLC which the owner indicated they would address. My friends and family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The front porch is a great spot to hangout and was very popular with our group. »

« We stayed here two years ago and we were very happy to come back this summer. The kitchen renovation was a wonderful update that made the house much more accommodating for our large family. Hosts are wonderful. We will be back again next year! »

« This was a great place to have a family reunion. There is a nice big yard and a wonderful waterfront area. Having 6 bedrooms was helpful also. They are smaller than they look online but It worked out. »

« The house was great. Very clean and had everything you needed. The view was spectacular and we were minutes from stores and dining.I will say definitely bring your smallest vehicle. The driveway is very tight. Otherwise is was a relaxing stay and we had beautiful weather. »
