« Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Heating was amazing, and the place was so cozy. Only downfall was the standup piano and my daughter thinking she was John Legend so having to listen to that all night did my head in. « We recommend dealing with the property directly rather than through Expedia, as communication was excellent once we did so. The team was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The heating system and TV were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Happo One Gondola Adam—and very peaceful. »

« 15-min walk to the main terminal for buses to ski slopes. Accommodation was a bit dated. Comfortable but nothing special. The toilet smelled bad no matter how many times we cleaned it. There was sufficient space for 3 large adults; would have been tight for 4 and too cramped for 5. Friendly staff who were more than happy to transfer us to/from the station and willing to help and provide information. Overall average accommodation. »

« This property was the ice cream to our trip- the property was beautifully built, maintained and allows for the best possible mountain view from the base. The service was beyond attentive and the room was like out of a magazine. If you’ve got the money- splurge and do it! Watching the first snow fall from the panoramic windows was one of the highlights of our trip! »
