« Research between booking direct or third party. I feel like the property treats third party reservations as lesser so than a direct reservation. Booked a room two adults one minor; desk host was unaware of the second occupancy in the room? Seems like a simple overlook. Small town gives peaceful vibes. « Loved the property my sister and i really made a home for our ourselves for our four days in Sitka. Appreciated the extra touches coffee and hair care products and washer and dryer down the hall. The internet came and went but i guess thats Alaska. From the couch you can watch cruise culture crowds arriving in blue and green buses at. 10:00 am and the town desertrd by 4:00 pm. « We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Alaskan Lodge in Sitka! The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable and right at home. In the mornings, we loved being able to watch whales and eagles while having coffee! In the evenings we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. « There are not a lot of options for comfortable self contained apartments in Sitka, and the Franklin Apartments were a great find. They are centrally located, with as many food, shopping and adventure options as can be found there. As mentioned in other reviews, the two bedrooms are separated by walls that don’t completely seal at the top, so these are perfect for families with young children or children or for those who don’t need sound proofing between rooms.
