« Great little cabin on a pretty, quiet pond. My son loved fishing in their rowboat. I loved reading on the porch. It was clean and well taken care of. It’s in a remote area so we brought food and laid low while we were there. Loved hearing the loons and watching the sunset. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you! »

« We had a great time here! The kids had a lot of fun on the paddleboards, there were also kayaks, a canoe and a rowboat there and plenty of life jackets in all sizes. Matilda bay is a great spot as it's well protected on the windy days and deep enough to swim. The dock here is great, we were able to get our 22 ft tritoon in easily as well as my son's pond prowler fishing boat. Having the AC for sleeping at night was nice and being pet friendly also very rare. Kitchen has modern appliances...

« Teresa was a great host and a very responsive communicator. She treated us with respect and was incredibly welcoming to me and my family. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Camp Hemlock was condusive for relaxing and enjoying the private and the quiet surroundings. Boyd pond is the perfect size for kayaking and fishing with the family. Overall this is the best location we have stayed in the ADK area. »

« Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area....

« We loved our stay at West Bay Hideway. Big Moose is a lovely quiet lake and the cabin is very homey and comfortable. Especially enjoyed hanging out of the dock and watching the loons. Super convenient to lots of hiking trails and a quick ride to Inlet for all the essentials we forgot! »
