« The interior of the house is comfortable, light and airy, with windows that look out on the lake. Exerior needs some work, washing machines underground, area could use some clean up. Lost running water for a day due to problem with pump, owner on it immediately. Location was terrific, about halfway between Rhinebeck and the Massachusetts border. Good walks in beautiful countryside. »

« The three of us really enjoyed our stay at this pretty, well-appointed house. It had everything we needed, beds were super comfortable, living room was a great place to sit and talk together at the end of a long day. We should have lit a fire, and used the hot tub - not enough time in our schedule! »

« We had a wonderful time together. We really enjoyed the peaceful quiet surroundings, the large spacious deck, the beautiful view over the lake at sunset. The kids had a great time kayaking on the lake and sitting by the fire pit after dark. The pool air \ hockey table was a big hit as well. The house was clean, comfortable and was wonderful for winding down at the end of the day. »

« Could not have gone much better. The place is lovely. Plenty of space indoor and out for our whole group to gather but also nice little nooks for smaller conversations. Whole family had a great time. Super clean, chef kitchen, huge yard for frisbee and bocce. »

« Easy to find, fully equipped, great light, within 20 minutes of a lot of great spots (probably less if we didn’t keep stopping to admire the scenery). Hosts respond immediately to questions. Early morning, we saw peacocks. »

« This was a dream rental. The house was very cozy and perfectly sized for my group who visited town for Rhinebeck. I wish we had more time to explore the area immediately around the house, but we really enjoyed the view of the lake and the cozy interior. »

« Lovely home. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. Very homey. Comforable.. Very convenient to the wedding venue (Stissing Restaurant). I confess that the extensive taxidermy collection was a bit more pronounced than shown in the pictures, but we got used to it and then it was part of the charm. »
