„We didn't like the Check-in. It was very stressful because the Code we received via mail didn't work. It took 3 calls and 2 hours before someone could help us and we got a new code. We were tired and exhausted after a 10 hour flight and then all this stress that was really unnecessary. We liked the facilities in the room, espacially the kitchen. It was clean, you had a lot of space and you even got small kitchen utensils. “

„This little studio was perfect for what we needed, a homebase for while we were exploring NYC. It's conveniently located close to the Subway. The bed was comfortable. No issues finding the place or checking in. Plus you can't beat the price! Would absolutely stay here again.“

„The photos already show the apartment. The big table, the big gas stove, the rooms. Everything is there to feel comfortable. What could be improved is that the number of plates is doubled and enough cutlery is provided. The street where the apartment is located is quiet and peaceful. The residents look at you with interest. We had a lovely, relaxing week in the apartment.“

„This exact property is not available to rent, however it is still on the website and is able to be paid for. We did not know this until check-in and realized we never received a code to get in. It was only when we called the number attached to this property is when we found out that it is not supposed to be available. „Beautiful views - the property is high up. The kitchen was nice to make some food at and had supplies. Check in instructions were clear. The place was clean as well. There is free parking on the street - just read the signs. One downside - The AC in the bedroom was pretty loud if you can’t sleep with loud noises. Quiet building though you can hear outside noises.“

„Unser Aufenthalt war ein bisschen enttäuschend. Zunächst einmal hatten wir eine „echte“ Ferienwohnung erwartet und nicht eine normalerweise vom Eigentümer genutzte Wohnung. Auch dass die Wohnung insgesamt einen etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck machte, war nicht so sehr das Problem, sondern eher, dass sie nicht ganz unseren Sauberkeitsstandards entsprach (das einzige Geschirr, das wir benutzt haben, waren 4 Gläser, und die mussten erst einmal gründlich gespült werden). When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. In den Bronx-durchaus eine Option statt Manhattan

"Klar, das Hotel ist nicht im Zentrum von Manhattan, aber dies hat dafür preisliche Vorteile. Da man in New York City vermutlich sowieso immer auch mit der Subway und Bussen unterwegs ist, kann man getrost auch vom Highbridge Hotel starten, denn man ist in ca. 25 Minuten mitten in Manhattan und sogar in 35 Minuten direkt ohne umsteigen an der Staten Island-Ferry. Zudem ist es mal ganz angenehm dem Touri-Rummel (klar, man gehört ja selbst auch dazu) etwas zu entfliehen und ein Stück der Bronx oder Harlem kennenzulernen - durchaus auch attraktiv. Das Zimmer ist etwas karg - ein Tisch wäre durchaus nett, denn der Platz ist gegeben - aber zweckmäßig ausgestattet. In einem großzügigen Frühstücksraum kann man mit einem guten Frühstück (auch Eier, Bacon usw.) in den Tag starten. Sehr freundlich war auch das Personal an der Rezeption. Wir werden wiederkommen. "
