„Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! “

„Ein sehr charmantes kleines Haus auf einem ruhigen Waldgrundstück direkt an einem kleinen See (1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Auto von New York JFK). Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber tadellos.“

You are right on the water, within 5-10 min from town and have all the best amenities. I would highly recommend staying here and definitely will look to stay here again in the future. „We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. “

„The house and hosts are absolutely incredible! Perfect for large groups or families. The basement adds a massive extra space for hangouts / activities / games without disrupting anyone asleep. House has everything you could want in a lake rental. The private lake area is great being in a cove, only downside of this property is the walk from the house to the steep steps going down to the water which would be tough for olde generations. “

"Die Unterkunft hat im großen und ganzen für uns gepasst! Wir waren 10 Nächte. Was wirklich stört ist das man die Zimmer Tür nicht leise zumachen kann. Darum bekommt man auf der ganzen Etage mit ,wenn wer das Zimmer verlässt! Tischtennis und Fußball Tisch existiert auch nicht,!"

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."
