« This was my 1st time to Lake Chautauqua and Rachel's cottage was such a great welcome for us to the area! It was exactly as listed and is fully stocked with all of the essentials, including bug spray which I didn't even think to bring. Super clean and comfortable. I traveled with my older parents and goldendoodle and everyone was very comfortable in the house. « Sunset Cabin in Westfield NY has become an annual retreat for we three friends from central Pennsylvania. Not only is the cabin well appointed, roomy, clean, and comfortable, but the natural setting - under the trees and near the lake – creates a relaxing atmosphere for beachcombing or just sitting near the shore with a drink of your choice. The beach glass was harder to come by this year, but the amazing sunsets of every color made up for that in spades! We had a wonderful escape from that...

« Never received check in information and no response from messages or phone calls. Tried multiple times and in every way we could to contact the host and VRBO. Ended up in a nearby hotel for the night since there was no response. Very disappointed to say the least and I expect a full refund!!!! »

« Chris was an exemplary host. We were able to check in early. He also offered a late checkout which we didn’t need.We were greeted with music playing and a chilled bottle of Proseco on the table. A beautiful sunset followed though not sure if he has that kind of pull.The house was as advertised. A porch looking out on the lake as well as a covered pergola just feet from the cliff on Erie provided a serene aspect to the stay. Spent nearly every waking hour at the house in one of those two places....
