„Die Leute am Empfang waren unfreundlich und der Check in hat ewigs gedauert. Infos mussten wir alle selber besorgen. Das Frühstück war eine reinste Katastrophe. Es war fast alles leer und die Frau welche auffüllte konnte kein Wort englisch und verstand nicht mal der Kaffee ist leer oder es hat keine Gabel mehr. Das Hotel war gut gelegen und die Betten bequem. Wir würden nie wieder hier übernachten. Seit 5 Wochen auf Reise das schlechteste Hotel. “

So many historic towns nearby. I wished I stayed longer but I will be back!“

Die Hotel-Immobilie an sich war sehr herunter gekommen, aber das würde ich dem Motelbetreiber nicht unbedingt anlasten. Ähnlich schlecht gewartete Motels haben wir auf unserer Reise öfters gesehen. Die meisten Motelbetreiber versuchen dann wenigstens das Beste daraus zu machen. Jedoch unser Zimmer im Kingston Motel war derart dreckig und ungepflegt - so etwas habe ich vor 20 Jahren mal ...

„Close to Kingston and Hwy 87, thus convenient. Friendly host(s), a very pleasant stay. We were okay with no cell phone reception or TV because the wifi was fine, and we enjoyed this quiet getaway. Breakfast was tasty, artisan bread, large portions of fresh fruit. Restful and comfortable.“

„I absolutely love this cottage and would happily stay there again. It’s honestly even better than it looks in the pictures. I stayed here with two friends for New York Sheep and Wool- we enjoyed the kayaking and the sauna particularly, but everything about the house was so inviting, calm, and beautiful- kudos to the owner or the property manager for keeping everything in such great condition.
