« The property was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed! The decor was dated (80s), the towels were pretty worn, the outside property could use some TLC (to make it more inviting), and the twin beds were uncomfortable. But to me, the cleanliness was the most important! Thanks! »

« The cabin was exactly what was listed. The host was one of the best that I’ve ever met. Very personable. He made it a point to talk to us to make sure everything was ok. Showed us some other spots on the property that looked to be amazing as well. I highly recommend to give this a try. If you like the outdoors and great customer service, you’ll be very happy here. « We had a great time during our stay! The view of the mountains from the porch was incredible. Loved the private trail. The rooms were clean. I also got engaged right in the the front, facing the Mountain View, so it will always be a special memory here. The host was responsive. Will definitely be back!! »

« The stay was great! I would highly recommend staying at the Fox Den or any of their other properties. We loved the Pac-Man game. The centers of Thomas and Davis are adorable. This is a great location for hiking Blackwater State Park. If you are reading the reviews and come across the noise reviews, I honestly did not find the noise from the upstairs unit to be bad at all, and my son didn’t even hear the noise. « Great cabin tucked away in the woods. Very peaceful atmosphere. House was very clean and contacts with the owners was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Would stay here again, loved the creek nearby! »

« The land of Canaan resort was a four star rental for me. It was very clean and comfy, the beds were soft and we had plenty of space. My kids also enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool and the game room space. I am giving four stars because of the WiFi situation. To get WiFi, you have to go through a third party and after paying for it, it hardly worked unless you sat near a window and only worked on one device. We had a family of 6. I also did not really communicate with the host at all....

« Very great location and nicely stocked with items in kitchen and extra supplies for bathroom . Loved the river in back of us . I only had 1 complaint .. The living room rug was covered in dog hair and I didn't have an animals . Had an amazing visit with family and would definitely go back again . »
