« If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois. »

« Very pretty and peaceful property. The perfect place to get away from the big city fireworks with our easily spooked pup over the July 4 weekend.Plenty of items in the kitchen to easily prepare your own food and comfortable hot tub in the back. The nature trail was an added bonus, especially since we had a dog with us. We had a small hiccup when we arrived but Cody was extremely responsive and helpful and it was resolved quickly. »

« The room was absolutely amazing. Clean and thoughtfully decorated. Excellent area for bars and night life. Parking is a bit of a jaunt though, then it’s a LOT of stairs. If there was an elevator I was not aware of it. Glad we were a younger crowd. For our wedding party. Would book again, loved the history of the place. And the contact was more than accommodating. »

« This was a last minute booking for us due to a death in the family. So it was great to have a place in the middle of town for us to be close to family. The bedrooms were large and so were the beds. The only thing I didn’t read was that we had to provide our own toilet paper so when it ran out in the middle of the night there was no other roll in the house. Also we would have liked to have a few more towels instead of one per person. The host requested that picture of the doors to the home...
