This was one of the worst hotels Iâve stayed in. It was not clean (our shower walls and shower curtain even had mold on it). The lamp shades were broken and the AC would randomly start/stop working. They have stuff in the halls for what appears to be a remodel or maintenance, but never saw anyone actually working. Reading other reviews, thatâs been going on for a while. We were there 4 nights and never received housekeeping. We had to raid a hallway cart for fresh towels and TP. The front desk is empty and you have to call and wait for someone to appear from a next door hotel. Never again.
I love this hotel and stay here anytime I'm in Dickinson. It is quiet and the pool and hot tub are wonderful to dip into as a break on long journeys.
Hotel is kept very clean and the area is safe. Highly recommend.
Listing stated room would accommodate 3 guests. We were traveling as a party of 3. When we got to our room there was a king bed but no pull out bed. When I went to the desk they said they didnât have roll away beds. They said they could give us extra bedding but someone would have to sleep on the floor. They offered to put us in a 2 queen bed room but required us to pay an upgrade fee. We also felt the pet fee was unreasonably high- $70/night. The desk clerk was very kind but unable to help. The manager was on site but would not meet with us.
This is a hotel in the middle of a transition. It was clean & quiet, it had a very nice pool that was already remodeled. At the time of this review the breakfast area was under construction, so I believe at some point this would be an added feature which will be nice. My only feedback currently would be that this is an extended stay type of facility where even the Studio type rooms are equipt with a 2 burner stovetop, full size refrigerator & a diswasher - people stay in these with the intention of being able to make a meal or two in house. Our room had ZERO plates, cups, glasses or utensils - there were 2 small pans & a cutting board. When we went to inquire at the front desk we were given 1 plate, 1 bowl & a fork and a knife (for TWO people, lol) - along w/a box of plastic utensils and were told "thats all we have." As they are doing the renovations they need to focus some energy on properly stocking the rooms to match the features they provide.
The hotel is under a huge remodel. Itâs starting to look great. There were some problems with the room when we checked in. All the problems were dealt with and we have a clean and restful night.
Room was dirty, bed had hair on the sheets in multiple places. Hotel was under construction, baseboards missing, carpet was ripped up. Seems hotel was understaffed and front desk person was trying to handle multiple issues at one time by himself on a very busy weekend. He was kind, but seemed very short staffed.
Renovating, clean but not finished. Or room's soap dispensers were empty, no additional toiletries provided. We upgraded to a suite on check-in, got a suite with no couch or chair, just a desk with a tv and 2 end tables đ€
