« An outstanding property in a tea plantation. The main house is full of furniture from days gone by, including nice library. The staff are very incredible. We went at a time when the night temperatures got cold. Not a problem. We ate by a roaring fire, slept of beds made toasty and warm by electric blankets, and were taken for an incredibly hike through the villages with the tea garden as well as through the garden itself. Spectacular! »

« The hotel itself is attractive and well appointed Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Coffee/bakery is fantastic. The setting is in a congested section of the Darjeeling bazaar without on site parking making arrival and departure complicated. We enjoyed our stay. »

« スタッフは素朴で善良。 総じて垢抜けてもいないし、おしゃれでもないが、カンェンジュンガを眺めるロケーションは抜群。 シャワーのお湯の出は2人連続使用でも水にならなかったし、水力が弱いというわけでもなく合格点。 エアコンではないが、少々音の大きな温風暖房と湯たんぽで寒さを感じることなく快適に過ごせた。 建物も家具も古いがきちんと掃除され、大切に使われてきたことがわかる。 朝夕の食事はビュッフェ形式で、スープと飲み物が別にサーブされて、カレーが7種類ほどとナンやご飯、サラダやフルーツデザートと一通り揃っていて美味しくいただいた。 有料でも空港からの送迎サービスはないそうで、バグドグラから6~7時間、車の手配は別に行う必要がある。 距離的に何でそんなにかかるのかと思っていたが、国境でのビザの取得や未舗装路が多いためにスピードは30～40ｋｍがせいぜいだし、道路工事渋滞が頻繁に起こるためにたっぷり時間がかかってしまった。 近代化されつつあるシッキム州のまだ純朴な魅力を味わうことのできる内に訪れることをお勧めする。 »

« Pauvre et froid l'accueil. Le buffet pour le déjeuner n'offrait que peu de choix. Pas de yaourt par exemple. Le service était confus- l'anglais pas compréhensible de certains employés est-il responsable? J'ai dû demander une tasse de thé à 5 reprises avant qu'on ne m'explique que c'était la faute de la cuisine s'il n'y en avait pas de prêt...Or nous n'étions qu'une poignée de clients attablés. Le service WiFi était pratiquement inexistant- je n'ai pas réussi à envoyer un seul message à partir...

« We had an unpleasant stay experience. During the winter season, we faced issues with heating. When we requested the heater, they insisted on an additional charge of Rs 1000. Despite booking a stay with buffet breakfast, the hotel did not provide a buffet; instead, they offered a limited menu with options like puri sabji, paratha, or bread with tea. I do not recommend this hotel due to the rude and unresponsive behavior of the staff. »

« Quintessential perfectly preserved beautiful British Raj hill station hotel Darjeeling full of historical artefacts at the end of the mall with some views.
