Little Meadow Retreat is a unique countryside escape nestled within the heart of Snowdonia National Park, combining the charm and character of both Waen Fechan and Y Cwtch to create a spacious retreat perfect for families, friends, and small groups. Hidden at the end of a one-mile gravel track through protected RSPB SSSI oak woodland, the property enjoys complete privacy, spectacular views of Cadair Idris, and a truly peaceful setting within the grounds of Pandy Farm.



Offering the best of both cottages, Little Meadow Retreat blends rustic farmhouse character with modern comforts. Guests can enjoy two welcoming living spaces, both featuring traditional wood burners, creating cosy spots to gather after a day exploring the mountains. The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining areas, stylish bathrooms, and thoughtfully designed interiors that retain the character of the original buildings while providing everything needed for a relaxing stay.



The retreat comfortably accommodates larger groups, with multiple double bedrooms and one single room, spread across the two cottages. Underfloor heating, a freestanding bath, a spacious walk-in shower, and carefully selected touches throughout ensure comfort in every season. Coffee lovers can make use of the Smeg barista coffee machine, while the cocktail set provides the perfect excuse to unwind with a drink in the evening.



Outside, guests can make the most of the surrounding countryside with private gardens, a firepit, outdoor seating areas, and an outdoor shower. With fresh spring water, minimal light pollution, and Snowdonia's status as a designated Dark Sky Reserve, clear evenings often reward visitors with unforgettable stargazing opportunities. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, making Little Meadow Retreat ideal for those wishing to explore the area with their four-legged companions.



Located just minutes from the historic market town of Dolgellau, Little Meadow Retreat provides an excellent base for discovering the very best of North Wales. Mountain trails, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, and adventure activities are all within easy reach, while the retreat itself offers a peaceful haven to return to at the end of each day.



Please note: Access to the property is via a steep gravel track featuring a tight hairpin turn. A 4×4 vehicle is essential, particularly during winter months, as vans and standard cars will not be able to reach the property. If you are unable to arrange a 4×4, please contact us before booking to discuss access.



The heating system automatically turns on twice a day (morning and evening). Should you wish to enjoy the wood burners during your stay, logs can be delivered directly to the property or left ready for your arrival.
