« Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. « We were among the first guests to rent this peaceful accommodation. The rooms are beautifully and elegantly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and nothing was missing. The centrepiece is the terrace with the refreshing pool and an outdoor shower with wonderful views of the nature and the mountains. « Stayed here for 4 nights, the cabin is very interesting. It is in the lovely garden of the owners, a little bit outside of the main street in Calibishie, so better to have a car. The kitchen is great, bathroom also, however there is no airconditioning. The view is awesome from the hammock and terrace. The owners are very nice and friendly. Thanks! »

« Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous avons rencontré quelques mésaventures à notre arrivée, car nous étions venues pour le carnaval, ne sachant pas que le logement était à la montagne, donc un peu compliquée d’accès. Mais notre hôte a su rebondir et nous a proposé un autre logement plus près de la ville et accessible au taxis. Le logement était super propre, une cuisine bien équipée, on s’y sent comme à la maison une vu face à la mer incroyable. Je recommanderais à 100 %. »

« Stayed at Kootney Resort for the purpose of quarantine. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Apartment was very spacious, each bedroom had AC, lots of fruit trees on property plus a river near by. Overall very pleasant stay. »

« The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! »
