« We stayed for a long weekend to hike and kayak in the nearby parks. The house and property were nice and clean. Lots of outdoor space, we enjoyed the porch, walking some trails and the goats! Grateful we were able to rent this peaceful property and to experience the surrounding mountains, lakes and wildlife. »

« The cabin was comfy, clean and cozy, and was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the sky lights, and enjoyed doing puzzles at the kitchen table. The lake was peaceful and we enjoyed the kayaks very much. It was great all around. We look forward to coming back again soon. »

« Had a great couple days at the "glamping cabin." The ride to get there on a dark foggy night was a bit thrilling, but could immediately relax once I got into the cabin. Place has everything needed for a semi-primitive cabin experience. Enjoyed the sauna and thencozy bed. »

« House is cute and charming. Jacuzzi is fabulous. Property is abutted by a serene pond with charming bullfrogs singing at all times. Everything is well stocked with necessities, from spices to laundry detergent. Just a short drive to Ludlow and Okemo mountain. Note: bedroom on second floor does sleep six but it is one large loft bedroom so no real privacy from other vacationers. Also, anyone over 5'5" should exercise caution on the narrow stairs to the 2nd floor loft. »

« We couldn't have asked for better property hosts! Melissa and Michal were so attentive and provided so many wonderful amenities. The General's Cabin just felt like home and was truly a relaxing stay. The lake water was perfect for swimming and we fished off the dock and caught some bass. « We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin, it really felt like home. It was so cozy, and so well stocked with all the amenities, and beyond. The game and DVD cabinet was a big hit with our 5 year old. We also thought we left something behind and Patty went above and beyond to look for it. Patty also checked in with an email upon our arrival to make sure everything was good. Would definitely return! »

« This little house is clearly very well loved by the owners. The owners left very chat instructions on how to use everything, and they were very responsive whenever we had questions. We had a lovely time and would love to return! »

« 100% The best place to stay in Vermont.Beautiful log cabin on a gorgeous property in the woods. Hiking trails. Fresh clean bathrooms, plenty of bedrooms for our group of five. Spacious kitchen and dining area, awesome back deck with table and chairs. Fire pit with plenty of wood to burn. The Wifi is super powerful! It even worked out side on the deck!!!We can go on and on about how amazing this property is.Thank you to the hosts who were incredible!We are definitely going back! »

« This cabin was the perfect little spot for a New Years vacation. It’s easy to get to, has parking on site, and is a short drive to get groceries, some shops in town, and more. We loved the nostalgic feel of the appliances and decor, including the retro Nintendo comforter! We cooked all of our meals while here, the stove and oven worked well and there were plenty of pots, pans, etc. The fireplace was easy to use and warmed the entire place well, even during a snowstorm. « Séjour très reposant et sans aucune nuisance sonore. La cabine était très propre et chaleureuse; l'environnement était très agréable. La seule chose difficile a été de s'habituer aux toilettes rustiques... La propriétaire a été très gentille et compréhensive car, suite à des problèmes à la frontière américaine, nous avons perdu une journée de location qu'elle nous a remboursée, alors qu'elle n'était pas obligée. Très belle expérience. »
