« If you’re looking for a hotel that nails the basics and then casually throws in cookies, the Country Inn in Champaign is your place. Check-in was smoother than the gravy on the breakfast biscuits, and we were greeted with warm cookies—which is basically the hospitality equivalent of a hug from grandma. The next morning, breakfast came through clutch: waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and coffee that was not only drinkable but actually enjoyable. That’s a rare hotel breakfast achievement...

« Drove into town for an overnight stay for graduation celebration. We arriv d early and we were allowed to check in early so we could change and get ready for the party. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Lots of pillows too »

« We enjoyed this property. Comfortable beds, robes, beautiful garden and friendly staff. It isn’t the typical breakfast usually associated with a BnB but plenty of items for help yourself. The decor is blended historic and modern with a tv and a computer in the living and dining areas. The place is quiet and location is great. We would stay here again. »

« Property was in good condition and rooms were clean. Breakfast options were great! Even included gluten free options for us! The area around the hotel didn't offer much but it was conveniently located off the interstate. Staff recommended a great gluten free restaurant nearby! Good restaurants and shopping within close driving distance. »

« Very nice hotel. The shower and beds were amazing and luxurious! »

« There was a water leak across the hallway and the overnight repairs kept us awake all night. The following morning our room didn’t have any water pressure. There was no manager on scene and despite two messages, we were never contacted by anyone. Mistakes can definitely happen but the lack of communication was terrible. »
