This listing was misleading. This is the 2nd unit on this property. It was musty smelling, like it had been shut up for a long time. We opened what windows would open, some were inoperable. The cabin is not secure if you do open the windows because the screen is just magnetic.
It wasnât clean. There was hair on the pillowcase! The kitchen utensils had food on them and the coffee cup had not been washed. It had coffee stains in it, it washed right out. The couch had burns in the cushions. There were cobwebs on the light fixture in the living room and in the bathroom. There were dead bugs in the corner of the bedroom. The bathroom sink wouldnât drain we had to plunge it.
The outside cushions were chewed up and mildewy. Thereâs an outdoor fire pit, there were 2 pieces of wood provided but no matches. Big problem was the hot water. To get any in the kitchen to wash dishes you have to run the shower first. Then it only lasted for about 10 seconds. We didnât stay our entire booked nights.
The cabin itself was ok, but the kitchen could have been cleaner..stove and silverware drawer was not great. Very disappointed with outside areas..deck and firepit area furniture was unusable due to being filthy and broke down. Cushions were left out all winter
The cabin is exactly as advertised! It was super cozy and we loved the decor. My partner and I were both in love with the property and we wished we had planned for a longer trip. The property manager, McKay, is second to none. He went above and beyond for us when we needed assistance with something extremely minor. McKay clearly cares about his guests and ensuring an unforgettable trip. We highly recommend staying here!
