« It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the...

« Great area to swim. Was excited for the little row boat up there but they must have taken it away. Was a cozy little place. It was very hot out, but the evening air cooled the rooms well enough. Pit toilets were some of the nicer ones I have seen. Bottom line, if you read the description, there is no reason to be upset. Would love to come back sometime. »
