Carriage house

The 3 story renovation was beautiful along with the setting on the water and great outdoor spaces. The king bed had a pillow top but sat on a wooden frame that needs replacing with a spring but might be difficult due to the slanted ceiling. The keurig coffee was a nice extra. Close to Lester park. A marker to find the driveway would help since house is tucked back.

What a lovely place on the water. Really relaxing view and everything you need to just chill for a few days. Lots of hiking nearby, and the best restaurant in Duluth is a short drive up Scenic Drive (New Scenic Cafe). Highly recommend.

Mother / Daughter weekend away! The home was extremely clean, beautifully positioned on the lake, and easy to access and park. The amenities were perfect, pleased to find laundry detergent available, coffee pods, firewood, etc. Would highly recommend. It is just as it looks in the advertised pictures.

My happy place.

This was the 5th time renting this beautiful cottage! Tabitha is a wonderful hostess. She responds quickly, makes the place shiny and brand new every time and really cares about the property and her guests. Can't wait to return to this calming oasis!

Gorgeous property with views to die for

This property is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. Even though weather wasn't great, we still enjoyed the sounds of the lake and the views. Property is well stocked with everything you need.

Perfect lakeside getaway. Views are amazing. This owner has thought of everything. So many nice touches, including kcups, paper products, soaps, etc and welcome snacks. Owner quick to answer any questions. Would highly recommend. Hope to return someday!!

Before we even entered the rental we were enchanted with the view. Lake Superior is RIGHT THERE!! It was amazing, but of course, it got better. Entering the space (quite easily thanks to Tabitha's instructions) magnified the water view. Once we took our eyes off the view, we realized how amazing the rental space is all on its own. The layout is exactly as described in the listing. Three floors with the lower level feeling like its own private oasis as there is a door to close off from the main level. There is a sofa sleeper down there which was great for naps. Very comfy. The main level has the living room with comfy furniture, kitchen, fireplace and of course, that stellar view. The kitchen is very well stocked. There is no garbage disposal, and that was no big deal, but just be aware. The upper level has the primary bedroom, bathroom and accessible storage for your belongings. The king bed is very comfortable. There are skylights which provide an incredible stargazing opportunity late at night (it was a bit too chilly to actually spend too much time outside). The location of the property is great. A grocery store was within walking distance. The road in front of the property takes you everywhere you need/want to be.The outside areas provided lots of seating, but again, it was a bit chilly to spend time out there for us.We very much appreciated that the space was so clean, organized and well cared for. We'll be back!

Perfect!!

The Carriage House was exactly what we were looking for. The view is amazing and the location is fantastic. It felt cozy but still plenty spacious for my wife and me. It would also work great for 4 people so we may even bring our two kids next time. Everything was exactly as described. We will definitely be back!

Quiet Retreat to Begin the New Year

I knew when I pulled into the driveway I'd made the right choice for a quiet retreat spot to begin 2025. The amenities were great, including a clean, bright well stocked kitchen, comfy sofa to read and bed to rest. Spotless bathroom in the master suite, and beautiful views of my favorite Lake. I look forward to a return visit to this or the adjacent property soon.
